I've been keen to play with Flarum for a while, so this is a fine excuse for that.
So far, I'm pretty happy. It's clean and simple and gets the job done. There's a lot of customisation that needs to be done, but as it's still in beta, things may break unexpectedly so I'm not going to get too deep until I know it better.
